The best speedway venue. Such a shame a bunch Karen’s have caused it to close down. Bring back Western Springs! Bring back Speedway! Remove the Karen’s instead!
Large park area,next door to motat museum.and the Auckland zoo. Limited parking though.common to have large concerts and events held here.there is a speedway track here also.plenty of viewing points.
Great times. Toilets were clean. Kids were kept busy. Seating for lunch. Lots of activity. Fun day. Train has longer ride than what I remember. Well worth it. Try to go when there’s nice weather. Wonderful day in overcast skies but be horrid in rain.
