written gf options on menu, but only thing was there was about 4 things. Something unfortunately unexpected as a gluten free eater. I ordered the duck and orange salad for $24.50. very very good, presentation was phenomenal, everything tasted fresh, duck was tender and still warm which thank fully didn’t jeopardize the salad it was laying atop of. would go back again just for that salad 🙂

Lovely meal here with our family, they have a high chair and non-members are welcome. Such an interesting display of photographs and castings of huge billed (sword) fish and sharks ! Sitting outside is so beautiful with the Russell waterfront/wharf and sunset view over pihia.

The second oldest angling-club of its kind in the world I was told. Zane Grey caught his world record here. The exhibition of taxidermy, pictures and trophies is simply stunning. A must see for any angling enthusiast. Russell is a gorgeous village with superb gastronomy.
