I stayed at the place and camped coz I am doing the Mt Manaia track tomorrow, so I went to the pub and honestly THE PEOPLE AND PUBBERS THERE WERE SOOOO KIND AND GOOD PEOPLE. Shout out to Aroha Ben and the rest, I am not good with names honestly so I forgot the very kind lady – wife of Richard was it? 😅

Great food with reasonable price (Friday and Saturday only though). Friendly and attentive staff. It was a great stop after Mt Manaia hike.

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere! Friendly staff, great patrons. Highly recommend stopping in for a beverage! Absolutely love this sign!
