Nice fish & chip meal but only had limited blackboard menu, big pours with wine & nice people, worth a go if in town

Hidden gem…a warm welcome by 2 of the staff and signed in promptly as non member being from the UK. Its a WMC so isn’t glamorous but is spotlessly clean as are the facilities. The chaps take great pride, keep a good cellar, and went out way to make me feel welcome ..exceptional value too. Long may places like this prevail and give them support as owned by the members. ( also 2 top pool tables)

The food was absolutely delicious. There could be better advertising that the place is open such as signs being outside inviting people in for a meal or a drink or both. We would never have known it was there or open if our hosts hadn’t taken us there.
