Wonderful beach….. always worth the visit… Sometimes hoons on the beach can detract but the paragliders make the scene enchanting. Bring sandals since the sun really heats the sand…. And don’t forget the Castaways resort restaurant for a bite to eat afterwards… And a great view.
Beautiful as ever. Black sand, you can drive on beach however best with 4WD. If you plan on spending hot summers day you will need gazebo as there’s no trees per se for shade. Dogs unleash as long as they’re controlled. Lovely for evening strolls and catching the sunset so pick up some fish’n’chips in Waiuku and enjoy the view.
